# A Story About a Boy and a Car
There's a father who gifts his son an old beat-up car, and he says, "I don't know if it drives or not, but you can take it down to the dealership down the street and see if you can trade and get some money."
So, the son goes down the street and goes to the dealership. They say, "We'll give you $1,000 for it." The son told his dad what happened, and then the dad said, "Okay, go to the impound yard where they break the cars up just for scrap metal. see what they'll give you."
The son went to the scrap yard, and they say, "I don't know, this might be $500 of scrap metal." The son went home, dejected, and told his father what happened. The dad responded saying, "Okay, go down the street to that antique dealership and see if they've got any use for it on their used car lot."
The son goes to the antique dealership, talks to the head salesman, and comes back home super excited. The boy said, "Dad, you won't believe it! This is a historic car, there are only like 10 of them left. It's worth $100,000. "There's something I want you to know," the father replied, "it's not necessarily who you are, but the people that value you the most."
